Lakeland Home and Garden Show

Turn Your Home & Garden Dreams Into Reality

BY MARIALICE QUINN

If you’re searching for project inspiration, don’t miss the Lakeland Home & Garden Show Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the Lakeland Center Exhibit Hall.

With free admission and free parking, the Home & Garden show is the perfect place for homeowners to find great ideas and see the very latest products. It is an opportunity to meet local experts who can answer questions and offer suggestions on all sorts of home repair projects.

“Our show promotes local business,” said Nick McMullen, President of Expo Trade Shows, “and, at the same time, provides to the residents of Polk County a wide variety of products and services used to improve your existing home – both inside and out – and to increase the value of your home.”

With thousands of square feet of exhibits, you’ll find the latest in products and services for everything from builders, contractors, materials, decks, pools, kitchens, baths, landscape displays/materials; and the latest from floor to roof, patio to pool, deck to dock.

If you are planning a remodeling project, be sure to attend one of Jim Parks’ seminars. Jim is one of the original HGTV hosts where his show, “New Spaces,” follows homeowners through the remodeling process. Both days at the Home & Garden Show, Jim will present seminars where he and a panel of local experts will answer all your remodeling questions.

Remodeling a kitchen can make it look and feel like a brand new home. Knocking down a wall can give an older home the wide open “great room” concept so popular in new homes. Just a thousand dollars spent sprucing up your landscaping can have a huge impact on curb appeal.

Whatever your project, you will find answers to all your questions at Lakeland’s Home & Garden Show, where you will be face to face with dozens of specialists from every trade dealing with your home. It is the most efficient way you will find to get the best ideas with the latest technology and newest products on the market.
