Casual Dining for Every Day for Everyone

Casual Dining for Every Day for Everyone

A Friday night fish fry or prime rib on Saturday is enough to tempt anyone to try out the Huntington Hills Club House restaurant, but this restaurant offers a lot more all week long. Huntington Hills is not just for special occasions or country club members, but is open to the public to enjoy great food at affordable prices in a casual country club atmosphere.

The average menu price is $12.99, and the kids can have chicken strips, spaghetti, grilled cheese or grilled ham and cheese for just $5.99. There’s nothing average about the food, though. The Grille is run by Chef Greg, previously with Lakeland’s Foxfire Restaurant, where many Lakeland diners remember they were served the best food in town.

And the same can be said of Huntington Hills. Chef Greg proves this point by serving the perfect Prime Rib every Saturday night. “Our diners love the prime rib,” said Restaurant Manager/Banquet Director, Denise Cardiff, “and it’s affordable at $13.99 for an 8-ounce serving or $16.99 for the 12-ounce cut.”

Tender and juicy steaks, from the ever-popular Strip to the Tenderloin Filet, are sure to meet the most discriminating expectations. And don’t overlook the Delmonico with caramelized onions. The Grilled Pork Tenderloin, an HH signature dish, is six ounces of garlic peppercorn-crusted pork tenderloin, sliced into medallions and plated in a blackberry sage demi-glace.

Every Friday night diners enjoy delicious white fish for the all-you-can- eat special from 4 to 9 p.m. for just $9.99. Every night of the week, Haddock, a northern favorite, can be ordered fried, blackened or broiled at $13.99 for a 14-ounce serving.

Other seafood specials include a delicate, sushi-grade seared yellow fin tuna; and wild-caught salmon is available as a special menu item. The handmade, broiled Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, served with honey lime sauce, is a perfect appetizer or entree.

Guests can enjoy the same professional service while enjoying the beautiful Florida weather and views on the patio, football in the Players Club Lounge or a quiet, elegant meal in the dining room.

Lunch patrons can enjoy fresh Angus beef hamburgers and cheeseburgers in the Players Club Lounge, as well as an assortment of sandwiches, such as the Ultimate Reuben, patty melt and club sandwiches with French fries, coleslaw and fruit on the side.

Huntington Hills’ banquet facility is one of the finest in Lakeland. Three ballrooms can be divided individually or opened into one large room. Located on the upper level of the clubhouse, oversized windows provide a spectacular view of the golf course. A balcony is available as well as a covered portico for drop off and pick up of your guests.

The surroundings, the food and the professional staff make Huntington Hills the perfect place to celebrate your special day. Denise boasts: “From 20 to 200, we can provide you with a wonderful experience. Our Club has been celebrating with Lakeland’s friends and families for 20 years, and many of our staff members have been with us for nearly 15 years. They know what to do, how to do it, and they do their jobs with a smile.”
